Become a National Sponsor

Create an experience that matters

The SBSC is a nonprofit in formation to facilitate a 2x annual virtual challenge event and build a small business success ecosystem, by hosting the premier business case competition with real impact for MBAs and business schools across the nation.

Each challenge engages:

200 SMBs / 600 MBA Students / 15 Top Business Schools

The ongoing nature of the SBSC will allow us to track impact over time of our small business participants and tell their stories.

Unique Sponsorship Opportunity

The SBSC offers unique sponsorship of our events due to the duality of the audience we serve, including small business owners nationwide as well as MBA students from the top universities in America.

We’re excited to build upon the success and momentum of the inaugural Small Business School Challenge to share the learnings and expand the impact for small businesses across the nation.

  • If your brand is a champion of small business, the SBSC offers a vehicle to support and network with 200 SMBs directly and reach hundreds more once their cases and media are shared across our digital platforms and website.
  • If your brand is on the hunt for the best young talent coming out of business schools across America, the SBSC is the chance to network with 600 MBA students and see them in action in real time.

RingCentral logo

"RingCentral got its start serving small businesses and still has the entrepreneurial spirit deep in its DNA. When the pandemic hit, and small businesses began to suffer along with their communities, we looked for ways to help.

We were approached by LifeWork about sponsoring the Small Business School Challenge and it was the perfect fit. Not an empty corporate PR initiative but a hands-on, high-impact hackathon pairing hundreds of MBAs and SMBs to create business plans for the new normal. David, Katrina, and the team moved quickly and collaboratively to get things done and the program was a hit. (Just ask Seth Godin.)

We were proud to be a sponsor and are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the Small Business School Challenge."
