Problem:

Pepitos Paletas saw a 95% drop in revenue when social gatherings were banned and offices implemented work from home policies.

Proposed solutions: 

The team identified a combination of 3 strategies to return Pepitos Paletas to pre-COVID revenue in the near term.

  • Sell at a farmers market again where they had previous success
  • Create partnerships with local restaurants to carry their product
  • Don’t discard the B2B option, but adapt to create a corporate care package and deliver the paletas to company employees working from home in the Bay Area

These combined strategies, in addition to taking advantage of some creative marketing activities, should help Pepitos Paletas recover strongly.
