2nd Place in School - Spring 2020
Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business
Problem:
95% of customers of embroidery and screenprint services shop offline and closures during the busy spring events season mean a loss of $40k in revenue that will be hard to recoup.
Proposed solutions:
The team recommends a 3 tiered approach to solve short term needs while growing future markets.
- Offer mask kits with markers as a new product in high demand for at home sewing
- Offer customer embroidered face mask kits to individuals, brands and businesses looking for creative longer term covid solutions
- After 3 months, shift marketing to develop partnerships through networking with other event providers
By bridging the short term gaps while building long term solutions, Embroidery From The Heart can look to both recoup lost revenue and grow over the coming year.
