Camp Captivate can’t be held in person right now, leading to 80% decline in sales and a related challenge of producing the kits for virtual/remote learning.

Proposed solutions: 

The team focused on strategic improvements to both marketing and operations:

  • Marketing focused on positive messaging and the exclusivity of the kits
  • Increased PR and digital advertising efforts to expand geographic reach
  • Improved social media content strategy leveraging Instagram
  • Allowing max capacity dictate inventory levels

With these strategies, Camp Captivate can become a first mover in virtual education by providing S.T.E.A.M. education for kids anywhere in the US.
