Spring 2020

Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business

Problem:

Audible Images had a sharp reduction in studio booking due to shelter in place orders and is starting to feel threatened by the rapid emergence of home studio artists.

Proposed Solutions:

The team identified 2 quick wins and 1 long term strategy based on the technical strengths and assets Audible Images have:

  • Quick-win: Expand school partnership to help students record portfolios
  • Quick-win: Provide free “mastering” services to attract emerging musicians
  • Long-term: Establish tiered virtual concert packages for emerging singers that include high-quality recording and live streaming services. In addition, Audible Images can consider hosting a singing competition once enough performers have been gathered.

By providing services to students virtually during the pandemic, Audible Images can help singers produce better sounds, improve their brand recognition and cultivate future clients
